Believe In Breakthrough

“Breakthrough is on the horizon for The Bartletts.”

Even from a federal prison, Brett—the eternal optimist—makes sure to include that line in almost every nightly letter he sends me.

I’m going to be honest with you though…

There are days where I feel like a warrior wife ready to take on the world.

And then there are days where I feel like I’m barely keeping my head above water… just trying to survive the weight of everything life is throwing at us.

And every single time I let Brett into that space—every time I tell him how overwhelmed or stretched I feel—he responds the exact same way:

“Noél… I HEAR YOU. I SEE YOU. I LOVE YOU. And I BELIEVE IN YOU.

What we’re walking through is REAL and it’s HARD.

But…

Breakthrough is inevitable.

Because you’re a Bartlett… and WE NEVER GIVE UP.”

And here’s the wild part about his cheesy (but very sweet) response…

He’s right.

Because somewhere in the middle of all this chaos—because I’ve made the decision to not give up—

breakthrough is starting to bloom.

For the past 14 months, I have been praying and asking God to make a way for me to provide for my family.

And last week…

He answered.

In the most unexpected way.

Korean Lash Lifts.

Yes… you read that right.

Korean. Lash. Lifts. 😅

Below are a few before-and-after photos from some recent clients (friends and family), and I’m not even going to lie… I was SHOCKED at how beautiful they turned out.

Like… STUNNING.

And in those quiet moments while I was working…

I felt it so clearly:

“I see you.
I hear you.
I’m with you.
Keep going. I will make a way.”

I’m honestly sitting here as one very proud (and slightly exhausted) wife… because I taught myself this entire process from scratch.

Thank goodness I’ve been a cosmetologist for almost 20 years 😅

And as I’ve stepped into this, I’ve started offering a full range of services—

Lash lifts (including the newer Korean lash lift technique),
Lash tints,
Brow Laminations,
and Brow Tints.

It honestly feels surreal to even say that out loud… but it’s real, and it’s happening.
