UPDATE on Mr. Wolf

-UPDATE on Mr. Wolf-

After dinner I was able to join Mr. Wolf on a walk around the track and share everyone's kind words, heartfelt prayers, and words of encouragement.

After a very emotional 15 minutes Mr.Wolf turned to me, grabbed my arm firmly, stared deep into my eyes, paused and in a very stoic but firm voice said "Brett, thank you. This means so much to me. Please tell your people thank you."

We finished one more lap before I walked inside. Again Mr.Wolf stopped me and said
"Please Brett, make sure you tell your people thank you and how much this means to me."

I know those words meant the world to Mr.Wolf. I now see the holistic healing that is taking place here. Please tell everyone thank you for being a part of the process. Prison is complicated because there is pain and hurt in so many directions. Mr.Wolf now knows HE HAS PEOPLE that are praying for grace, forgiveness, and reconciliation. God is doing work over here.

Oh, and Mr.Wolf shared with me how the Pastor from his Native American reservation is driving down to visit him in a few weeks. This man wants to lead Mr.Wolf in a weekly bible study even though he lives 5 hours away. I'm very proud of my friend and the advocate network he is starting to build. He is putting in the work.

Annnnndddd do you want to know another fun fact? Mr.Wolf showed me the book/devotional he is reading.
It is called "Strong and Courageous" and is a day by day devotional about the book of Joshua. You just can't make this stuff up. I shared with him our family's story and Zions middle name. (which is Joshua) That put a big smile on Mr.Wolfs face. Dude is a warrior.
I hope someday my Zion gets to meet him. They would have a blast together.

I just want everyone to know how priceless those prayers and words of encouragement really are to people inside of prison. All of us inside of here have messed up and some of us are REALLY trying to reconcile with society. The road is NOT easy but it's worth it.

Life in prison is hard but it is impossible to deny the beautiful breakthrough that is happening over here every single day. It is in the darkest places that God's light shines the brightest. These men here are thirsty for purpose, grace, and forgiveness. Let's continue to gently lead them to Jesus.

So, thank you so much for taking the time to write those and thank you for all the prayers!

And, THANK YOU for letting Mr. Wolf know "he has people."

Love, Brett

-note from Noél

As some context for those who don’t know why Brett is talking about the irony of Mr. Wolf and the book of Joshua, the book of Joshua has been very impactful for our family since all this began. It was the book of the Bible Brett leaned heavily on when the walls around him started to collapse, and very quickly, as we started to understand more of what was ahead, we adopted Joshua 1:9 as our family verse. And when Zion was born, right smack dab in the middle of all the chaos Brett knew he wanted his middle name to be Joshua. Joshua 1:9 has been the verse we constantly cling to through all the pain and the unknown these days.

Joshua was a warrior, and we believe that God has destined us all to take up our armor and march into battle for Him. When God says in Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous,” He is not asking at that point—He is commanding it. So we walk by faith knowing full well that God’s got us, and although the road ahead may be tough, we march forward without fear, trusting that His plan for all this is far greater than we can see, and He will use it all for His glory!

Thank you so much for marching with us in this journey! We are forever grateful for each and every one of you!

Love, Noel

Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Shatter Your Shame- Sneak Peek

Shatter Your Shame, Chapter 1

Shatter Your Shame, Chapter 2

Shatter Your Shame, Chapter 3

Shatter Your Shame is NOW AVAILABLE

Brett and I are so excited (and honestly still a little in awe) to officially announce

Shatter Your Shame is LIVE on the site.

This book was written inside a federal prison—on random pieces of scratch paper, with a dull pencil, behind razor-sharp barbed wire and an electrified fence. What started as handwritten prison letters has turned into a powerful testimony of redemption, responsibility, faith, and purpose.

Shatter Your Shame is for anyone who carries the weight of their past, the burden of regret, or the quiet pain of shame—and is ready to see how God redeems what the world calls broken.

Brett writes with raw honesty about the worst decisions of his life, the consequences that followed, and the miraculous way God met him in the pit of prison and transformed his shame into purpose. These are one-of-a-kind prison stories that will help you heal, rise, and walk forward unchained.

(Perfect for small groups, book clubs, churches, or gifting to someone who needs hope.)

Every order directly supports me and my 4 beautiful children during this season Brett is away.

This journey hasn’t been easy. Prison is heavy. Shame is heavy. But God is proving—once again—that He specializes in turning massive messes into healing miracles.

Thank you for believing in redemption.
Thank you for supporting our family.
Thank you for helping us share this message with the world.

With so much love,
Noél
